When we first started recording this show, we decided that Tony Carey would be a great artist to feature. An interview was scheduled early on but we never seemed to find the right time. So this week, we are going to feature him without the interview. The former Rainbow keyboardist had a string of solo hits in the 1980s. We will feature "A Fine, Fine Day" from his Live In Sweden 2006 Volume 1 album, "Why Me?" from his 1983 Planet P Project self-titled release and Planet P Project's "Join The Parade" from their recent album 1931: Go Out Dancing (Part 1). We also had an Australian caller before the end of the show.

This week we feature Los Angeles' Plimsouls. Often overlooked when talking about 80s music, their 1983 album, Everywhere At Once, is essential for inclusion in your collection. We will feature the album's title track, "Oldest Story In The World" and their hit "A Million Miles Away."

Lot of news this week but aside from our regular content we will celebrate the recently announced 25th anniversary reunion of Yazoo (or Yaz for those in the U.S.) We will discuss their brief history, lightly touch on their previous and recent projects and feature a hits mix as well as the songs "In My Room" and "Mr. Blue."
