Its no wonder that she spent most of her life in numerous bands, and learning any instrument she could get her hands on. Even though she got her degree in Literature & History from University of North Texas, she refused to have a normal job. She worked for a major label part-time and full-time for the largest recording studio in the SouthWest. Kristin began making her solo record in 2006 after her band, The Royal Blue, dissolved. By 2007 Kristin had independantly released her album and her first complete book of poetry. Kristin Leigh does not adhear to any stereotype when it comes to her live show. Her performances range from stripped acoustic songs, to intense computer driven tracks beneath live piano, guitar and vocals.
